by Hana Searson, IDG Head of Talent
www.trainingzone.co.uk

'Coaching has been with us for many years now, and it has become the norm for many large organisations to use external coaches for various reasons; executive coaching remains popular, and internal effectiveness coaches work one-on-one to improve performance. Recently, however, there appears to be a greater interest in, or perhaps a renewed emphasis on, creating a coaching ‘culture’ in organisations.'(excerpt from article posted 29/06/2010)

First Open Executive Education Programme at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

IDG is pleased to announce the launch of our first open Executive Education Programme at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

In the current economic environment leaders have to make tough decisions with far reaching consequences.  The Courageous Leadership Programme will allow participants to experience how leaders from commercial, military and sporting backgrounds have made the right decisions on their ‘difficult day‘. They will paint a picture of real life situations they have faced and then ask:

‘What would YOU do?’

This unique and business relevant programme has been designed to incorporate the moral, physical, intellectual, commercial and human components of Courageous Leadership and will allow participants to practise new skills in a safe yet challenging environment.  It will also:

  • Demonstrate  positive behavioural change through 360° Leadership Assessment both before and after the programme
  • Provide one to one coaching throughout the programme to support the participants and ensure they develop their personal impact as a leader
  • Deliver a pragmatic and practical approach to development underpinned with academic rigour and theoretical best practise
  • Challenge the participant personally and expect high levels of commitment
  • Illustrate the commercial value of Courageous Leadership

For more information on how to join the Programme, please visit the Courageous Leadership Programme website www.inspirationaldevelopment.com/courageous or contact Martin West on 020 7798 2848
