*************************************************************** Business Breakfast Discussion Guest Speakers: Hana Searson On Thursday the 10th of June, IDG held the 7th in its series of Business Breakfast discussions at the beautiful Chandos House. We were delighted to host the breakfast and explore some of the issues around assessment criteria for potential future talent. Some of the issues discussed included: assessing potential talent based on both eligibility and suitability criteria, developing a culture where talent programmes reward effort, how crucial it is to truly understand your organisation’s culture and values when selecting future leaders and how elements of the British Army’s approach to selection could be transferred to business. "I found the topic very thought provoking and relevant" breakfast guest. "Stimulating topic! I always come away from these IDG discussions with a head full of ideas. We knew we wanted to change the approach to how we recruit our grads and this gave me the chance to stir the grey cells!" breakfast guest. As discussed over breakfast, IDG design innovative talent and graduate programmes around our clients’ values and strategic objectives, carry out talent and team profiling and measure return on investment for our interventions. If you would like to discuss this in more depth or find out more about how IDG could help your organisation, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Hana Searson |
