The IDG Coaching Clinic
What is it? IDG’s coaching support for middle management is analogous to a sustainable programme of physical exercise and development at a gym. It helps executives get fit and stay fit in a supportive and confidential environment. It enables individuals to be stretched, tested and challenged by a personal IDG coach whose only concern is the enhanced effectiveness, motivation, and fulfilment of the client. How is it best used? IDG’s coaching gym is best used to help executives who need to do one or more of the following: - Equip themselves for new leadership and management roles.
- Lead, manage and deal with change or reorganisation.
- Manage underperformance by a team or individuals.
- Develop their personal brand and enhance their profile and reputation.
- Deal with a highly political environment.
- Develop core skills.
Examples of Core Skills How does it work? The executive will have one primary coach supported by appropriate specialists who will work with the client over six sessions (of two to three hours each) in two distinct phases of the engagement. Phase One Session I – Coaching Induction Session II – Personal Audit Phase Two Sessions III-VI - Skills Development and in role support.
