Workshop Evaluation Questionnaire
We collect participant feedback after every workshop using an on-line evaluation questionnaire which is in each individual’s Inbox the morning after an event to ensure recollections are fresh in people’s minds and are therefore as accurate as can be. The benefits of using this methodology are: - It is comprehensive and is based on a well-known training evaluation model which goes beyond knee-jerk "happy sheets" by focusing on transfer of learning into the workplace thus ensuring that training and development is serious, purposeful and sustainable.
- Participants (particularly reflective types) welcome the opportunity to go away and think about their learning experience as opposed to being forced to provide rushed ad hoc reactions thus ensuring considered, detailed and useful feedback which drives a more effective continuous improvement approach to training and development.
- The data generates summaries which are digitally stored, are easily accessed and can be used to generate aggregated reports which can provide (in tandem with other measures e.g. 360º Feedback Surveys, LFP Organisational Scan, Quick-Win Payback Projects) vital evidence of programme effectiveness thus ensuring training and development which is targeted at value for money.
Below is a real aggregated report showing a high level summary of average scores from our programmes based on more than 250 workshops and 4500 responses spanning over 6 years . Each of the 4 sub categories contains a maximum of 10 specific question items. A score of 0 indicates that they strongly disagree while 5 shows that they strongly agree with the statement.  We work with our clients to distil out the key insights and messages from the feedback reports and, after regular discussions, agree and implement any amendments to the content and flow of the programme to meet changing organisational and business requirements over time.
