We design and deliver high-quality, bespoke behavioural improvement programmes aligned with our client’s strategic goals to address their specific performance and development needs. Our focus is on experiential learning to achieve measurable and sustainable change of behaviour and leadership excellence.
Our partnering agreement with Royal Military Academy Sandhurst allows us to draw upon key leadership and team performance methodologies honed over 200 years when designing our programmes. It also means that our clients have the opportunity to use the Academy’s uniquely inspiring facilities in the UK.
Our main business improvement focus in Oman to date has been within leadership development, work ethics, team building and employer engagement. We are honoured to work with clients from both the private and public sector, and from industries including oil and gas, banking, retail, insurance, utilities, and government services.
The IDG Oman office was established in 2013 and currently comprises a mix of full-time employees, highly qualified associates and capable partners. The IDG team is approximately 75% Omani, with the rest of the team made up of people mainly from Oman but also from the UK, India and The Netherlands.
We have designed and successfully delivered leadership development programmes for many organisations including Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Oman Arab Bank (OAB), Mazoon Electricity Company, Schlumberger Petroleum Technical Services and the Municipality of Al Ain.
Work ethics programmes have been delivered successfully for the PDO-sponsored school leavers and for the Omani Authority for Partnership for Development (OAPFD) training ‘short course students’ at Saham Vocational Training Centre. The latter also included training in practical problem solving through robust outdoor tasks.
We have conducted various types of team building programmes for several clients in order to improve internal and external processes. Examples are Schlumberger, HSBC, Shell, Carillion, JP Morgan Chase Bank and Oman Gas Company.
Currently, we are conducting a large employee engagement programme for PDO helping this client improve the welfare of 30,000 employees in its contractor community. A leadership programme for OAB is also ongoing and for PDO, we are also engaged in the delivery of an employee welfare survey pilot for BP.
