You are a senior leader, organisational manager, director, member of the C-suite, or you aspire to be one. You want to enhance your abilities, learn new skills, and gain the confidence given by having an internationally recognised management qualification on your CV. You may have responsibility for these issues in your organisation.

How does it work?

You sign up, and choose a unit from our range of subject areas. You will receive access to IDG Online’s virtual learning resources, be assigned a mentor, and then set a series of ‘challenges’. You will need to consider key issues in the subject area you have chosen, both in principle and your own organisational context. The resources, and your mentor, will help you to reflect, draw conclusions, and generate real-life evidence of your thinking and approach in action.

There is no exam or dissertation required: you just have to display the abilities required for a senior leader by rising to the challenges we set. On successful completion of all the challenges and tasks, you will be formally assessed and put forward to the CMI for the award in the subject area you chose.

As all our CMI programmes are supported by a virtual learning system, where you set the pace, the length of time it takes to complete each unit depends entirely on how much time you have to devote to it. Typically, we estimate that you will need to put in around 2 hours per week over 5-6 months.
